Why We Ain't Dying For This:
Most of us are down with the subliminal messages of being a Black woman. It’s the slight roll in the neck at the salon when Sis’s hair looks good af; the knowing glance in the supermarket when your kids are wildin’; or the compassionate nod when you just know she’s going through it. 
 
Whether these nonverbal forms of communication are a relic of the way we’ve been relegated to the outskirts; disallowed from being loud, proud, and importantly – vocal about how we’re feeling in realtime, we're done with that.
